Why Kinectiv – Laurel’s point of view

For me, being independent and entrepreneurial is something I’m genetically predisposed to. It’s as common in my family as delicious jam recipes (mmm… Aunt Sylvia’s peach jam…), and it’s an opportunity I take very seriously.

Partnering with Anne and Mark has afforded me the ability to do what I love, for clients I believe in, in a town that’s going through some fantastic changes. Because it’s just the three of us, we can stay quick and nimble to respond to the changes that happen every day in small businesses. And on the flip side, because there are the three of us, we know a great number of talented professionals, artists, and freelancers to hire for jobs that require a larger staff. We’re scalable; we can be as big or as little as a client needs, depending on the budget and scope of work. For me, that’s key; we’re able to get any job done as well as a big firm, but because we don’t have the constant overhead costs, we’re able to do it at a lower cost.

So ultimately — why Kinectiv? We’re local, talented, passionate about what we do, and super flexible. I actually get excited about going to work every day. And let me tell you, that’s something I don’t take for granted.
